Worst customer support I've ever experienced. I pay for verified to receive enhanced support. However, after their system returned an error twice, I've been timed out of asking for enhanced support, even though I never spoke to anyone. The initial problem was that my business profile was suspended from recommendation erroneously by their horrible automated AI moderating. no idea what it saw, but even Meta told me it was an error. still no resolution. been a week so far.

I go on FB to keep up with certain friends & family but miss almost all posts from most of the friends I have on there due to my feed being flooded by random accounts/groups that I don't follow or am apart of. Most are "suggested". I like to watch the reels but the amount of ads make that impossible and piss me off. It didn't used to be this bad. It's basically a pointless app to have now. I miss anything by the people I know in real life.

I'm glad that there is a separate friends tab to see a friends only feed. Have joined some great facebook groups. Has a lot of great features now. But there are still a few bugs and glitches here and there that need to be fixed. Ads can be really interruptive during videos, search bar glitches sometimes, and for some reason I am not getting notifications whenever someone likes or reacts to my posts. How can that be fixed?!

Video watching is broken as hell, and it's been like this for years. Multiple videos play at the same time, ads are way way louder than the rest of the video, and ads get stuck and keep you from watching the video (after you watch the ad, of course). It claims that you have a new message at the top corner all of the time, even if you already read the message. The algorithm is also intentionally showing you content that it knows you don't want to see.

For an app that's supposed to keep you in the loop with friends and family, it does a really bad job at it. 90% of my feed is ad and suggested content. If I scroll through 20 posts, only a handful are from my friends. I don't even see half the content they post. Not to mention the notifications are useless. Why am I getting a notification about a post made 3-4 DAYS ago?? I have a few dozen friends that I'd like to keep up to date with, but this app makes that almost impossible. Waste of time.

It was fine while I had access. Someone hacked in and changed my email address. I reported it, and I never got a response. Update: the account was "recovered". All my friends were deleted and all that was left was my one profile picture. Now everytime I open the app, I get an error message and the app doesn't work. UNINSTALLED. It's not like they provide any useful services.

At the bare minimum, it's a site that lets you have people on your friends list. Beyond that, it's largely unusable. 8 out of every 10 posts is an ad or a group you don't follow and didn't ask to see. The app's UI is wonky and sometimes doesn't let you see notifications. The site is flooded with AI posts by bot accounts that exist only to make money for the account farm makers. The site (and all meta apps) seemingly killed of TikTok in the US to turn their platforms into it. Hard pass.

only some videos can be muted, and that is never an option if you're playing music from an app that you pay for. I have some other issues as far as how complicated the navigation of the mobile app is. two stars for variety of content. I left a bad review and suddenly nothing wants to load even though my signal strength, both wifi and mobile data, are perfectly adequate. Suspicious.

I use Facebook often and I keep having stupid issues with the app. For example, right now I can't access the menu in the top left corner to check my groups right now. Last week it kept deleting posts I put up. Another time the search wasn't working for marketplace. Too many bugs, if my family wasn't in the app I would stop using it. #FedUp

Mostly a neverending ad platform with recommendations that always try to sell you things. Facebook, in most aspects, is a digital commercial campaign. In 2009, it was just you and your friends, and some pages you follow. Algorithms attack ypu as soon as you look at something or say something that your phone picks up on. Definitely noticeable in Facebook marketplace.

They're sort of getting away from the support inbox, and they have a new feature. That's at your profile picture. That's called profile status. Sometimes you can correct the problem right. erase it and in 24 hours. Your profile is back to normal. But people still don't realize in their support. Inbox, which is over on the drop down list where the settings is. They need to go there and see what violations they have and try to get them corrected. Because they stay with you for a very long time.

App constantly wants to know my location, 2542 location requests since reinstalling. Turned location permissions off, I'm good. No wonder my battery drains so badly. Also, you'll get an ad or sponsored post after EVERY single post and video now, even watching 10 second shorts, you get hit with an ad every time they repeat. You don't get that kind of invasiveness on apple products or the browser based site.

I have only ever used the desktop version on my phone which has always been superior to this app, but it seems as though FB has limited the desktop site so I guess I'm stuck with this. oh well. Edit: Nevermind, using the app didn't help and I couldn't delete it fast enough. I guess I will continue to use the desktop version even though I can't access my groups, memories, or share feed posts anymore. Like I said before, oh well.

It keeps just getting worse. The ads are absolutely ridiculous, and it's gotten to the point where like they don't even let you skip through them by swiping once you have to do it twice, And it tries to trap you and messages with that company too. It refreshes my feeds so often that I constantly lose posts that I was going to comment on before they just disappeared.

I like Facebook in many of ways from friendships to market place , post , and other spects , but the AI is very disrespectful , degrading , demeaning , and really unhealthy and needs to be fixed in better suit of people . Also , when it comes to the dating section ; you could have an exact match or close enough to it , but it still won't connect you with them . It's only what appeals to Facebook in choosing to send the match to you or not . Its well of itself , but things mentioned need fixing .

The amount of intrusive ads that have been added to the end of videos and the fact you have to scroll twice through some ads twice now makes watching videos unbearable and not worth it. If I could lower the review in this app to less than 1 star, I would. the ads are getting worse and worse. I just got 24 ads on reels in a row. I'd post a video of it to prove it if I could.

I randomly started getting videos that do not match my interests. Despite blocking multiple accounts and choosing "hide reel" on every single one, but I just keep getting more. I sent a feedback about it multiple times and sent a bug report because it seems like it must be a bug at this point. Now I can't access my reports to see if there is an update... it just won't load. Nothing else on my phone is having this issue...makes me think all of this is somehow intentional and that's just weird.

The fact you have options for features and then they don't work is wild to me. You can customize your top bar but actually you can't. You can hide reels but actually you can't and it gives a weird error message. Reels through messenger don't go back to messenger.I just wish I knew what you were doing with all the ad money you made, but then again it's probably something awful and I just have to reflect on how this trash app has wiggled its way so deeply into my life and what that says about me.

03/07/26 Last update caused a problem. When clicking on a text post the screen goes blank. Background color stays the same but there is no text. Please correct on next update. Update 3/30/26: Now I can't 'like' anything. I have no account restrictions. I've cleared out the cache. I've closed the app and restarted. Still can't like anything. Come on Facebook, whatever the problem is, fix it.

I hate the notifications on this app. they used to be relevant to me but now they rarely have anything to do with me. I should at leasr have the option to turn off notifications I don't want. and not just for eache individual notification either. in the settings there should be an option to turn off certain types of notifications that I don't care about.
